Ingredients
- 1 cup Jif® Creamy Peanut Butter
- 2/3 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup plain yellow cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
Directions
- Step 1
HEAT oven to 325°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2
BEAT peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, egg, cornmeal, baking powder, vanilla and salt in medium bowl with mixer on medium speed until blended.
- Step 3
SHAPE into 1 1/4-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheet. Flatten with bottom of drinking glass to 1 3/4-inch diameter, then mark with fork in a criss-cross pattern.
- Step 4
BAKE 9 to 10 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool on baking sheet 5 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
