Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup dark corn syrup
- 1/4 cup
Jif® Creamy Peanut Butter
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped peanuts, plus additional for garnish
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
- Whipped cream (optional)
Directions:
1. HEAT oven to 425° F. Blend corn syrup and peanut butter, in a medium mixing bowl, with spatula. Mix in eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt gradually, until smooth.
2. ARRANGE chopped peanuts on bottom of unbaked pastry shell. Pour peanut butter mixture over peanuts.
3. BAKE in oven for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° F and bake for 25 minutes longer. Cool. Serve garnished with whipped cream and additional chopped peanuts, if desired.
