About the Tenth Annual Jif Most Creative Peanut Butter Sandwich Contest
From August 1, 2011 to October 12, 2011, teams of creative kids and their parents from across the country submitted original peanut butter sandwich recipes for a chance to win money toward college. Qualified recipes underwent an initial round of judging to determine 10 semi-finalists, who participated in an online vote. The top five finalists were selected based on a combination of online votes and the scores from the preliminary judging round. Each finalist will demonstrate how to prepare his/her peanutty creations for a panel of judges at the finale event in New York City on March 22, 2012.
