Wrapped Up in Love

Everybody loves a classic sandwich, but making a wrap provides new ways to get creative and have fun! See how several of our past winners wrapped things up using lettuce leaves and tortillas. Other ideas for wraps? The possibilities are endless: spring roll wrappers, flatbreads and thinly sliced vegetables can all stand in for basic bread.

2010 Winner: PB & Fruity Says "Let Us Rap"

Rachel, from Clovis, CA was selected as the winner of the Eighth Annual Jif Most Creative Peanut Butter Sandwich Contest for her PB & Fruity Says "Let Us Rap" sandwich. Using fresh lettuce leaves as a sandwich wrapper, paired with the sweet crunch of apples and grapes won the judges taste buds. Rachel's choice of sandwich ingredients includes; Jif Extra Crunchy Peanut Butter, apples, grapes and chicken combined in a lettuce wrap. Together it's a winning combination!

2005 Winner: Thai Peanut Butter Chicken Wrap

A secret sauce, chicken, scallions, lettuce, and Jif Creamy and Crunchy Peanut Butter in a tortilla make for a very creative peanut butter sandwich. Katelyn, from Richmond, captured the judges' taste buds by demonstrating how to make her winning sandwich creative. Always willing to lend a helping hand to mom and dad in the kitchen, Katelyn's culinary creativity was triumphant with her innovative and exotic sandwich combination, Katelyn's Thai Peanut Butter Chicken Wrap.

2004 Winner: Peanutty Wrapple Roll with Maple Dipping Sauce

Jessica, from New Jersey, wowed the judges with her impressive Peanutty Wrapple Rolls with Maple Dipping Sauce, taking top honors in the second annual Jif Most Creative Peanut Butter Sandwich Contest. Her winning entry combined Jif Peanut Butter, rice crisp cereal and apple filling with a sprinkle of brown sugar, all wrapped up in a flour tortilla. Jessica added a gourmet flair by pairing the sandwich with an original maple-cinnamon dipping sauce.
